She arrived just after midnight at 8.5 lbs and 21 inches long.  Apparently, she wanted to make a grand entrance and held off until Easter had arrived. Everyone together say...Drama Queen.  It's okay.  We'll let her have this moment because when she's home with the four siblings...well, there won't be much time for Elizabeth to be the center of attention.  What can I say but that she's a beauty with very good lungs.  Very alert.  Even shushed herself to listen to Daddy's voice and obeyed Momma when mom said it was time to nurse. 

There's an intrinsic wonderment to the birth process and it was a special moment for me to be there with my oldest daughter and her husband.  My love for my daughter, their love for each other producing this beautiful daughter and us being there in this moment in time (there's that time thing again!). It's a memory I'll treasure forever.  Happy Easter everyone!
