My blogging friends have been busily blogging away (am I allowed to use -ly in a blog?) while I've been extremely lax. Not so much as ignoring my blogsite as writing my more 'important' stuff. The Queen has been occupied with her novel-in-the-works, a couple of short stories, and, in general, the things in life that have to be done by those in my station. You know what I mean? Oh, you don't? Let me explain.
Of course, most of you know about the three past blog mentioned daughters. One at seventeen has somehow grown up thinking a drama-free life is no life at all...hence...you get the drift. The 27-year old is now pregnant with her first and feels compelled to discuss, in minutae, every queasy feeling, and each horrible birth story she's ever been told. The oldest just had her fifth, Elizabeth, and her oldest will turn six this next week! I know youi're all wanting to know when she's going to stop....and the answer is probably not until the doctor tells her to. So there, put that in your pipe and smoke it. Anyway, I'm on the receiving end, in some way, the drama, the minutae, and the babies.
Then, there is my husband who generally travels with his job and is usually gone; thus, leaving me with lots of time to write (when not preoccupied with those three daughters whose lives are soooo much more important than the Queen). Dear husband is home and keeping me occupied with his interests. I'm not going to complain as we have so little time to be under the same roof these days. But, if I were to complain....it is I'm scrounging around, sneaking in computer time, and feeling guilty for it.
So, the QueenB_Write's blog has been somewhat ignored. This is my attempt to keep my avid readers (and I know you're out there), up to speed with what the Queen's been up to. I shall attempt to not let this happen again!
